certified penetration testing specialist

The current certification I am striving for now is HackTheBox’s Certified Penetration Testing Specialist. I’ve been focusing on building a strong routine of practicing labs and reviewing key topics like enumeration, privilege escalation, and common web and network attacks. At first, some of the machines took me a long time, especially when I missed small details during enumeration, but I’m getting better at being more thorough. I’m also improving my workflow with tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, and basic Linux commands so I can move faster during assessments. Right now, I’m still learning a lot, but I’m starting to recognize patterns in vulnerabilities and feel more confident in breaking down targets step by step.
